Brixton Brewery funds repurposing plastics workshop at women’s centres through custom branded socks and bucket hats
We recently partnered with Brixton Brewery and The Oval to design stylish ribbed socks and bucket hats for their summer event. The proceeds from this collaboration helped us fund two upskilling workshops and distribute 100 essential items to those in need.
One of these workshops was hosted in collaboration with Looply. Looply are a UK-based sustainable brand that transforms everyday plastics into functional products. From bookmarks and tote bags to keychains and laptop sleeves, Looply’s innovative approach brought creativity and purpose to the session.
Their team represented Leiho and led a two hour workshop teaching clients of The Baytree Centre how to sew, melt plastics and design their own pouches.
Check out the Impact Below:
• 80% of the women who attended had never sewed before.
• 90% of the women were not aware you could melt plastic and repurpose it into products.
• 100% of the participants felt accomplished and proud of themselves.
